                   BPMTOOLS Ver 2.1

The original author of these tools Brian Pollack has released all claim
to these tools. See the file "Copying" for details. They are now in the
Public Domain. In order to use these tools myself I have cleaned them up
a bit and added some patches.

There are still lots of bugs in these tools partly due to lack of
information from Livingston about their secret protocol. There are also
bugs because the parts I need to work seem to work OK :-)

I will try to incorporate any patches that are sent to me.

Questions, comments, patches, etc. should be send to me at <gem@rellim.com>

Fresh copies of this tool set may be found at: ftp.rellim.com:/pub/admin

Changes in Ver 2.1:
Firmly moved in to the public domain. Thanks Brian!

Patches to pm.pl for Solaris 2.x from Mike D. Kail <mdkail@fv.com>
These patches seem to require Perl Version 5.003

Added pmwho2 by Kevin Kadow (kadow@msg.net). pmwho2 can be
       called as a cgi-bin script.

Moved more site variables in to pm.pl from individual programs.
       This includes:
$Password	- your global pm password
$Domain - you local domain name
@All - names of all your portmasters

Various code changes to account for PM2er. The port numbers
were off by one. Certainly not all fixed.

Various code changes to dynamically handle various port counts
other than 30 on IRX, PM2 and PM2er.

New command line options for pmchk

Changes in Ver 2.0:
Patches from Dave Carmean <dlc@silcom.com> to make pm.pl
       work with ComOS 3.3.1

Added "pmchk", a tool to put in your crontab to poll your
       portmasters regularly.

Fixed pm.pl and pminfo for ComOS 3.3.1
