(*note A*) = This is a setting which shows up in the latest bios
             (1.00.08DI0), but not in the original BIOS that the
	     machine shipped with (1.00.01D8).  Note, in particular,
	     that the advanced power management (a new setting)
	     defaults to *off*, and in the original BIOS it was
	     on with no way to turn it off...
(*note B*) = These are settings where the "default" settings (what
             you get from hitting the "F5" key in SETUP for BIOS
	     version 1.08DI0) are *not* the same value that the
	     machine had as it came from Toshiba.  What are listed
	     here are the default values for the machine as it came
	     from Toshiba (which may very well be the default settings
	     if you hit "F5" in the BIOS that Toshiba had installed).
